Hi, I’m Jeff
You’re not alone.
I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you're facing anxiety, addiction, depression, grief, or going through a difficult life transition, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.
With a background in youth work, social work, and addiction recovery, I’ve gained a deep understanding of how trauma affects people. I’m passionate about helping others heal and grow by meeting them where they are, honoring their unique experiences, and offering support tailored to their needs.
I believe that everyone has the strength and resilience to overcome life’s struggles. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, which means I focus on empowering you to recognize your own inner resources. Together, we can uncover the tools you need to move forward with confidence.
I’d be honoured to be part of your journey, providing the support and guidance that will help you move towards more peace.
Credentials
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor certified with the BCACC. I have completed my M.A. in Counselling Psychology, building on my foundational B.A. in Child and Youth Care and Diploma in Youth Justice.
My diverse experiences in the human services field have allowed me to work in various roles, including youth work, social work, and addiction support. I am particularly grateful for the opportunity to engage with diverse cultures and demographics, including significant time spent working with Indigenous Peoples and the LGBTQ2SIA+ community. These experiences have profoundly shaped my understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals, guiding my approach to helping clients heal. This extensive background enables me to feel both comfortable and confident in supporting people from all walks of life.
